LLC Krona is a wood processing company in the Irkutsk region.
A diversified company was established in 2011 in order to implement the technical and socio-economic interests of the founders while unconditionally ensuring the interests of the Russian Federation in the field of forestry, logging, timber and wood processing before the utilization of waste by the forestry complex.

The company “Krona” is a dynamically developing company aimed at the development of the forest complex of the region, the creation of new jobs, the need for high-quality lumber and products of deep processing of wood. As a result of investing in the development of deep processing, competitive modern industries have been created that produce high-quality products for export.
The design and supply of equipment in the company was carried out as a single sawmill complex, taking into account the specifics of the forest resources of Eastern Siberia and the requirements of customers in the European and Asian-Pacific regions. The general contractor for the supply, installation and supervision of the company at the projected capacity was the German company EWD. Today, the production base of the enterprise is represented by modern high-tech equipment with a high level of automation and mechanization of the technological process, radial cutting lines, giving lumber high hardness and stability, which is rare for Russian sawmills (Esterer WD GmbH & Co.; Polytechnik Luft - und Feuerungstechnik GmbH; HOLTEC GmbH & Co. KG; Vecoplan AG et al.).
The company is guided by the requirements of domestic and international certificates throughout the product chain. Currently, Krona produces a wide range of dry high-quality lumber certified under the FSC scheme (FSC-C114678). The raw materials for the plant are procured in FSC certified rental bases. The production of finished products is carried out in accordance with State Standards and specifications adopted at the plants. The company produces a wide range of lumber. The list of products of the woodworking shop includes sawlogs of coniferous species: planed dry spruce and pine boards and rods, floor boards, edged boards of spruce and pine, technological chips, fuel briquettes and washers.
The continuous quality control system is observed at all stages of production - from the acceptance of raw material to the storage of finished products in warehouses. Innovative technologies have been introduced in the industry with a certain level of flexibility that allows them to manufacture competitive products depending on the existing market conditions.

At Krone, there is a System of Due diligence (DDS), which provides for tracking the origin of wood from the cutting area to the production workshop, eliminating the risks of raw materials coming from unacceptable sources. SDD is developed by the administration of the company and approved by the head.
